Buyback Information

The Bookstore retains a used book company to buy your used textbooks during the first week of the semester and also during final exam week of each semester.

• Beginning May 2013, students who purchase their books from the MSUM Bookstore will get higher prices for many titles being used in the upcoming terms.
• Textbooks being used the next semester will be bought back, if stock is needed. The prices paid for these titles is based on current market value. Many will be half of the new book price. Books not being used are purchased at the current wholesale value.
• The Bookstore buys back books all year long at wholesale value in the lower level of the store.  You will receive the best price for your books if you wait to sell them during finals week.
  

Fall/Spring: The buyback area is located at the cashier stations on the main floor of the Bookstore.

Summer:  The buyback area is located in textbook dept downstairs in the Bookstore.
